We have an immediate opening for a skilled Diesel Technician at our Freightliner of Harrisburg dealership in Harrisburg, PA. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or advance their career in the heavy-duty truck industry.
About the JobThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with experience working on Freightliner trucks. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as a valid driver's license. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, promoting sales of labor, parts, and accessories, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities- Determine the cause of malfunction using manufacturers' approved troubleshooting guides and test drives.
- Promote sales of labor, parts, and accessories to meet customer needs.
- Perform requested labor operations using recommended procedures, tools, and equipment.
- Document work performed and applicable technical information.
- A competitive salary range of $40,000-$100,000 per year, based on experience and billable hours.
