Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell products and/or services to meet customer needs, record sales and/or counter transactions, and supply Service Technicians with parts as required.
  • Inventory Management: Verify receipting-in of shipments, assist with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations, and maintain the condition of department vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
  • Training and Development: Participate in all job-related training and development, and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues, and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Parts Department operations or a related field.
  • Skills: Good customer relations skills, ability to work in a team environment, good driving record, effective oral and written communication skills, and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products.
