Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Server Assistant PM to join our team at Omni Hotels. As a Server Assistant PM, you will play a vital role in ensuring prompt and courteous service to all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Servers and Management: Provide support to servers and management in any way possible to ensure exceptional guest service.
  • Food Delivery and Service: Deliver food to correct tables according to ticket, floor plan, and seat numbers. Inquire if additional service is needed from guests upon delivery and inform server or manager.
  • Station Setup and Maintenance: Set up assigned stations with specified items and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Bar Support: Assist with Bar Back duties as needed, including removal of dishware and stocking the bar stations to par.
  • Dining Room Maintenance: Ensure all dining room items are always full, clean, and presentable. Secure all dining room items as directed by manager or posted side work.
  • Product Management: Ensure all products are within date and use the FIFO method of storage.
  • Training and Development: Attend all department meetings and other required company trainings.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 1-year food runner experience or DRA experience.
  • Availability: Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Must consistently demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be teamwork-oriented, and exhibit a positive attitude.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire shift. Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
