Position Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Oversee all facets of product liability cases from initiation to conclusion, including discovery, motions, trials, and appeals.
- Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain client relationships through effective communication, strategic advice, and high-quality legal representation.
- Legal Research: Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis on complex product liability matters, remaining informed on changing laws and regulations in the consumer products sector.
- Document Preparation: Draft compelling legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Collaborative Efforts: Collaborate with partners, associates, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
- Compliance Advisory: Provide guidance to clients on regulatory issues related to consumer product safety and compliance with relevant agencies.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the relevant State Bar.
- 3 to 6 years of pertinent experience in product liability litigation, ideally with a focus on consumer products.
- Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases.
- Exceptional skills in legal research, writing, and analysis.
- Strong oral advocacy skills and courtroom experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
