Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual therapy sessions using modalities such as EMDR, CPT, and DBT to help clients reduce distressing symptoms, process and resolve traumatic memories, and improve overall functioning.
- Foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that honors clients' identities, experiences, and cultural perspectives, promoting empowerment and self-advocacy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care and advocacy for clients, including referrals to additional resources and support services as needed.
- Stay abreast of current research and best practices, participating in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of Indiana required.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health-related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in community mental health settings, hospitals, or private practice.
- Specialized training or certification in trauma-informed therapies, such as EMDR, CPT, DBT, or other evidence-based modalities required.
