As a Pharmacy Technician - Sterile Compounding, you'll play a vital role in our mission by supporting our pharmacy team in preparing sterile compounds according to company policy and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and compound sterile medications in accordance with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines
  • Maintain competency in sterile compounding procedures and techniques
  • Participate in medication management, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining supplies
  • Troubleshoot equipment and software issues related to compounding
  • Contribute to cleaning and monitoring activities in sterile compounding areas
  • Collaborate with the team to respond to compounding needs and ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in Florida or ability to obtain prior to hire date
  • Intermediate level of sterile compounding experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts between 7am-7pm weekdays with rotating weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently to solve complex problems
  • Certified Compounded Sterile Preparations Technician (CSPT) certification
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
