Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Network Security Engineer to join our team at TPI Global Solutions. As a key member of our Infrastructure and Cloud Services team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Assessments: Process and prioritize security assessment reports to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
  • Security Controls: Design and maintain security controls for applications and infrastructure to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
  • Network Segregation: Implement WAF configurations, network segregation, and device security to prevent unauthorized access and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Security Monitoring: Enhance security monitoring and detection systems to identify potential threats and prevent security breaches.
  • Network Maintenance: Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations, to ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization follows regulatory requirements related to information security and document any security breaches and assess the damage.
  • Level-2/3 Support: Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Change Management: Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
  • Security Tools: Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the department's security team.
  • Vendor Liaison: Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with application, system, and network security.
  • Azure networking experience.
  • Experience using Tenable, Nessus, Splunk, etc. highly valued.
  • CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued).
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
  • Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
  • Strong knowledge of security fundamentals and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related subject highly valued.
  • Experience with Aruba switches and access points, and Fortinet routers, switches, and access points highly valued.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
