At McLaren Health Care, we are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating x-ray equipment to perform mammograms, developing film, and completing paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in breast biopsy procedures, including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms.
- Instruct and position patients to obtain acceptable radiographs of diagnostic quality.
- Ensure the work area meets appropriate standards of safety, equipment supply, and cleanliness levels.
- Manually enter data to ensure proper preparation for dictation and billing.
Requirements:
- ARRT, RT(M), or equivalent formal training as accepted under the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA).
