Job Title: Secure Computing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Secure Computing Engineer to join our team at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. As a key member of our Special Secure Computing Division, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and maintaining classified computer systems/networks and cybersecurity solutions for classified networks, including government enclaves.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure computing resources for GTRI projects
  • Conduct system, network, or software risk assessments
  • Perform vulnerability analysis of open source software
  • Integrate new architectural features into existing infrastructures
  • Provide cybersecurity architectural analysis and recommendations
  • Collaborate with customers and external teams to derive tasks from detailed requirements
  • Provide tasking to other team members and software code reviews
Requirements:
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Directive IAT Level II compliance within 6 months of hire
  • Candidate must be able to obtain Top Secret, SCI, and SAP access
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance preferred
  • Experience with Active Directory management, PowerShell scripting, Group Policy Management, and Windows Server Update Services
  • Experience administering Windows 10, Server 2016, Server 2019, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Experience managing, administering, and updating systems under the Risk Management Framework
Education and Length of Experience:
  • 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3 years of related experience with a Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
  • 0 years of related experience with a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
