Clinical Liaison Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Liaison to join our team at Numotion. As a Clinical Liaison, you will play a critical role in providing clinical support to our Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs) by generating documentation of equipment justification to ensure funding of basic and complex rehab equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide dedicated order processing support to key referral accounts as directed by the Director of Order Processing and affiliated ATPs.
- Collaborate with the Director of Order Processing for held billing resolution.
- Analyze and report to the Director of Order Processing on order processing trends and timeliness.
- Monitor key referral account OIP for accurate and timely processing of all orders for funding approval, procurement, scheduling, and delivery.
- Collaborate with Directors and ATPs regarding pended order resolution.
- Coordinate submission and follow-up of prior authorizations when special handling is required by payer or location.
- Responsible for collection and evaluation of key referral account medical documentation, which includes reviews for medical necessity, technical accuracy, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the Document Funding Center to communicate issues and changes with payers to Directors and ATPs.
- Work with IT and DFC Supervisors to resolve regional Payer Profile coding and allowable discrepancies.
- Analyze individual order gross profit margins and solutions when requested by key referral account ATPs.
- Analyze and educate staff on regional denial trends as well as on solutions for order approvals.
- Support ATPs with information and education to their key referral account when requested, including client financial obligations and the Payer process.
- Organize the scheduling and set up of loaner equipment as needed with ATPs and Seating Technicians.
- Coordinate key referral based service and repair as needed or requested.
- Provide support to the regional DFC as directed by the Director of Order Processing.
- Develop and execute plans as directed from the Directors to meet and exceed financial goals.
- Contact RTS, ATPs, CCCs, SC, and DFC staff as necessary for clarification in order process needs, documentation, timelines, responsibilities, adjustments, and deliveries.
- Associate's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
- Clinical certification or minimum 2 years industry background with proven skills related to medical documentation review related experience or training required.
- Demonstrate knowledge of products within the CRT industry.
- Basic understanding of financial reporting – P&L, medical billing reports.
- Results-oriented and self-directed with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Experience with common PC software (Word Processing, Email, and Internet).
- Strong customer service skills, ability to meet challenging requirements and deadlines.
