Job Summary:

Application software engineers are essential in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications tailored to meet business needs. These specialists engage in analysis, programming, testing, and debugging of software, ensuring applications operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Collaborate with management and business stakeholders to define system requirements and specifications
  • Convert requirements into functional applications through programming
  • Work in conjunction with Database Administrators to architect application databases and execute database modifications
  • Create efficient and scalable code that adheres to established standards and requirements
  • Conduct comprehensive unit testing of technical outputs and assist in system and user acceptance testing
  • Improve software performance through necessary adjustments and enhancements
  • Lead or assist in ongoing improvement initiatives for enhanced application functionality and performance
  • Generate custom reports and data extracts as required
  • Undertake any other assigned responsibilities
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • In-depth knowledge of system software/hardware technologies and programming languages such as SQL, .NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent experience
