Payment Processor

Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $52,000 per year

We are looking for a detail-oriented Patient Account Poster to join our team at White River Health System Inc. As a Patient Account Poster, you will be responsible for posting payments, adjustments, and rejections to patient accounts in accordance with current policy and procedures.

• Responsibilities:
• - Post payments, adjustments, and rejections to patient accounts in accordance with current policy and procedures.
• - Review electronic batches and identify discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• - Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• - Training and Experience: A minimum of 1 year working as hospital cashier, clinical service cashier physician office or hospital billing and posting experience is required.
• - Job Knowledge:
  • - Must meet and manage deadlines.
  • - Must have knowledge of insurance payment processing.
  • - Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations.
  • - Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • - Ability to maintain accuracy.
