Job Title: Digital Signal Processing Engineer

KBR is seeking a highly skilled Digital Signal Processing Engineer to provide support for the NRO Mission Operations Directorate (MOD).

The MOD operates, maintains, and reports the status of intelligence satellites and their associated ground systems, provides defensive space control and space protection, monitors satellite flight safety, and provides space situational awareness.

This effort includes support to innovation labs developing new tools, models, and algorithms to operate and exploit satellite space and ground systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop prototype solutions to exploit digital signals from overhead SIGINT RF collection sources.
  • Tailor those tools and techniques to successfully prosecute high-value targets as required by mission operations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related quantitative science field.
  • At least 3 years of DSP expertise and experience in developing prototype solutions to exploit digital signals from overhead SIGINT and other RF collection sources.
  • Ability to tailor tools and techniques to successfully prosecute high-value targets as required by mission operations.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in engineering or related quantitative science field.
  • Experience leading teams resulting in successful verification and test strategies/solutions for complex programs.
  • Experience with cloud development processes.
  • Experience with industry system engineering practices.
