About the Position
The Department of Psychology at San Diego State University is seeking qualified candidates for a lecturer pool position. We are looking for temporary faculty with expertise or experience in the following areas:
- Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience
- Industrial and Organizational Psychology
- Personality Psychology
- Research Methods
- Statistics
Responsibilities
Temporary appointments may be either full- or part-time. Appointments from the part-time pool are often made just prior to the start of the academic term, so applicants must be available on very short notice. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in psychology, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a graduate degree in psychology or a related field. University teaching experience and demonstrated currency in subject matter are also required.
