Aspen Medical is seeking a highly motivated and experienced WASH Specialist to join our team in providing medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers and US Government staff at a field hospital in Haiti.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, constructing, supervising, and managing water and sanitation systems, as well as providing expertise in cholera outbreak management.
Requirements:
- US citizenship or Green Card holder
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in public health, water and sanitation, environmental science, or environmental engineering
- Master's degree in public health, water and sanitation, environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field preferred
- Successful completion of a specialized WASH or water and sanitation training program
- Certified water treatment operator or wastewater treatment operator highly desirable
- Minimum of three years of experience in water and sanitation design, construction, supervision, quality assurance/quality control data collection, and managing cholera outbreaks related to water sanitation
This is a 1099 contractor position with a fixed daily rate while on rotation. The successful candidate will be a vital member of a small, dynamic team supported by a large international corporation.
