As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with educators and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to address the unique needs of students with diverse abilities and learning styles.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education directors, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement IEPs that align with student goals and objectives.
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions, consultation with teachers and parents, and development of adaptive equipment and materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to ensure seamless delivery of services and promote a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in school-based occupational therapy, preferably with preschool and elementary age students.
