Job Summary

As a Facility Maintenance Technician at Addiction and Mental, you will be responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. This includes performing routine maintenance on building interior and exterior, basic electrical and plumbing, carpentry, drywall, etc. You will also be responsible for responding to and closing out work orders, while maintaining an ongoing maintenance schedule. Additionally, you will contact and schedule vendors and contractors for building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior
  • Respond to and close out work orders
  • Contact and schedule vendors and contractors for building repairs and emergencies
  • Complete general repairs such as painting, patching walls, security hardware, hanging shelves and landscaping
  • Care for established lawns by mulching, weeding, mowing and trimming as needed
  • Proper use of equipment such as shovels, rakes, hedger, brush trimmers, riding and walk-behind mowers
  • Snow and ice removal (location dependent)
  • Upkeep of pool to meet state standards (location dependent)
  • Site ambassador to enforce health and safety best practices
  • Assist with site set up/clean up for events at location
  • Fill in for Manager on an as needed basis
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to tend to priority needs
  • Complete trainings as assigned
  • Embody brand values by fostering a growth mindset, demanding integrity from self and others, setting higher standards and working together
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred
  • FirstAid/CPR required
  • HVAC certification preferred
  • Additional licenses or certifications preferred
  • Computer knowledge
  • Ability to work independently or on a team, with minimal supervision while staying highly motivated
  • Must have outstanding communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to read and interpret written information
  • Flexibility with schedule, including availability to work on-call, nights and weekends
