Job Title: Building Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Lead Engineer with system maintenance and repairs, ensuring minimal operational downtime.
  • Lead Apprentice Engineers in troubleshooting and repair of critical system failures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of building systems to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement best practices for building operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants and respond promptly to their requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including chemical consumption logs and equipment inspection logs.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Building Engineer or equivalent facilities technical trade with strong HVAC skills.
  • Demonstrated diplomatic supervisory skills and ability to influence other engineers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain required city and/or government licenses or permits.
