Building Maintenance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Lead Engineer with system maintenance and repairs, ensuring minimal operational downtime.
- Lead Apprentice Engineers in troubleshooting and repair of critical system failures.
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement best practices for building operations.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and respond promptly to their requests.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including chemical consumption logs and equipment inspection logs.
- 3+ years of experience as a Building Engineer or equivalent facilities technical trade with strong HVAC skills.
- Demonstrated diplomatic supervisory skills and ability to influence other engineers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to obtain required city and/or government licenses or permits.
