PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Design, execute, and uphold quality management systems and protocols to ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform thorough root cause investigations and apply corrective and preventive measures to resolve quality discrepancies.
  • Drive quality enhancement projects focusing on process refinement, defect minimization, and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct internal and external quality audits to verify compliance with established standards and pinpoint improvement opportunities.
  • Work alongside design, production, and supply chain teams to formulate and implement quality control strategies and inspection standards.
  • Evaluate and endorse product designs, specifications, and manufacturing processes to ensure they fulfill quality benchmarks.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff on quality management systems, procedures, and best practices.
  • Examine quality metrics and produce reports to monitor quality performance, identify trends, and highlight areas for enhancement.
  • Engage with clients and suppliers to address quality-related concerns and promote customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.
  • Responsibilities may span multiple locations, requiring travel between sites.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing context is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality systems, standards, and methodologies, including ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of leading and coordinating various quality improvement initiatives.
  • Proficient in quality management software and analytical tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively identify and resolve quality challenges.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Onsite position.

  • Monday to Friday.
