Neurocritical Care Advanced Practice Provider

Franklin Square holds certification from the Joint Commission as a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
The APP is involved in essential bedside procedures such as central and arterial line placements, lumbar punctures, and EVD maintenance.
Furthermore, the Advanced Practice Providers take the lead in our Stroke, Sepsis, and Rapid Response Teams, delivering urgent bedside evaluations and coordinating care across the hospital environment.
Work Schedule: Full-time, with night shifts and weekend coverage required.
Education and Licensure: Must possess current BLS/ACLS certification. Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and registered/certified by the Maryland Board of Physicians (MD BOP). Graduate of an accredited acute care Nurse Practitioner program and licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Maryland.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of one year of experience in hospital medicine, preferably within a Critical Care or Neurocritical Care environment, with proficiency in advanced procedures.
