Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks, providing caring service to customers, and ensuring that all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions.
  • Provide caring service to customers, answering their questions and addressing their concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensure that all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met, including maintaining accurate records and following all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age, unless the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program, unless the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • PTCB National Certification.
