Salary & Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 in Phoenix, AZ/Chicago, IL and $150,000 - $170,000 in New York, NY/San Francisco, CA.

Job Description

This role develops, documents, tests, debugs, and maintains data and analytics engineering solutions for Paze.

You will provide expertise and familiarity in software tools, frameworks, and best practices in secure software engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain data engineering solutions for batch and stream processing
  • Develop advanced analytic solutions using BI and ML tools
  • Build infrastructure components required for Data and Analytics
  • Provide continuous integration and deployment of data solutions
  • Develop and implement tests for ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of our application
  • Able to identify and troubleshoot complex production issues for Support and Operations teams
  • Collaborate and partner with product managers, designers, and other engineering groups to conceptualize and build new features and create product descriptions
  • Support the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Science Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years direct experience in Software Engineering or related experience
  • Two (2) or more years' experience in the development of Data Warehouse, Big Data - structured and unstructured platforms, real-time & batch processing, and data standards
  • Ability to influence and work in a collaborative team environment
  • Working experience with cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Knowledge of mature engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, secure coding, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices, software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Lean, etc.) and DevOps practices
  • Excellent written and spoken communication
  • Must be a US Citizen or US National
