Job Description

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer at ZipRecruiter, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and Deploying Predictive Models: Design and implement machine learning models that support various business applications, including customer behavior analysis, predictive maintenance, and churn analysis.
  2. Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to align model development with business objectives and deliver data solutions that meet end-user needs.
  3. Transforming Data into Business Insights: Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that directly support business growth and efficiency.
  4. Optimizing and Maintaining Models: Continuously monitor model performance and refine models based on feedback and new data to ensure accuracy over time.
  5. Utilizing Advanced Data Techniques and Tools: Leverage advanced machine learning techniques and tools like Python, R, TensorFlow, and Tableau to solve complex business problems.

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning, with a proven record of applying models to solve business challenges.
  • Experience deploying models in production environments, ideally with cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, R, or SQL, as well as experience with libraries like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
