Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at the North Texas Tollway Authority. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including troubleshooting and inspecting circuits, locating underground electrical conductors, and making repairs as required.
  • Install new electrical systems, including new construction and special projects, and modify existing systems as necessary.
  • Inspect contractor work and complete items not covered under the scope of the contractor's contract.
  • Operate vehicles and equipment during inclement weather conditions, making minor repairs to property and equipment, setting and monitoring goals and objectives, and maintaining costs.
  • Perform hand excavation of trenches and digging as required.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years electrical apprenticeship resulting in licensing, or an associate or bachelor's degree resulting in same licensure.
  • 3-5 years' experience.
  • Ability to obtain Texas Journeyman's electrician license within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to obtain Texas class "B" CDL within 6 months of hire.
