About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bistro Attendant to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health, Inc. in the Good Samaritan Coffee Shop. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food and beverages are served to our patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of specialty beverages, gourmet teas, and food items to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous cash handling experience and food service experience preferred.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods.
