Boulder Community Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ortho/Neuro Department. As a dedicated patient caregiver, you will provide comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care for a specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
- Demonstrate clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identify the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
- Identify patient care problems, make interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
- Assess patient status systematically and anticipate and respond to changes in patient clinical condition.
- Actively seek participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
- Communicate clearly in all aspects of documentation.
- Practice universal precautions appropriately.
- May be required to perform point of care testing. May be a point of care trainer.
- Colorado RN license in good standing.
- BLS required by end of conditional period.
- ACLS encouraged for Clinical Team Leads.
- ONC certification preferred.
- NIHSS certification required by 12/31/17 and within 6 months of hire.
