Job Summary

Boulder Community Health is seeking a skilled Patient Access Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
  • Check in patients, verify and update necessary information in the medical record and into the computer.
  • Check out patients and collect payments from patients.
  • Assist patients with questions about their accounts and escort patients to exam rooms or labs when needed.
  • Closely manage cash drawers and maintain accurate records.
  • Schedule patient appointments in the hospital's electronic health record (HER) system, following office scheduling policies.
  • Maintain the lobby in a neat and orderly manner, answering phone calls, screening visitors, and responding to routine requests for information.
