This position is located at the Southern University-Baton Rouge, where you will have the opportunity to provide secretarial support for a high-level manager or low- to mid-level administrator.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to requests for information and interpret department rules and regulations.
- Compose and type correspondence involving complex, sensitive, and non-routine matters.
- Represent supervisor in various matters, providing input, and exercising signature authority.
- Serve as liaison between supervisor and staff members.
- Assess importance of issues or conflicts, and brief supervisor.
- Compile and type special reports by selecting relevant information from various sources.
To be successful in this role, you will need three years of experience in which clerical work was a major duty. Alternatively, training in a business or clerical-related curriculum in a business school or technical institute may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience.
Salary InformationThe estimated annual salary for this position is $31,124 - $56,764, based on the provided salary range of $2,602.00 - $4,682.00 monthly.
