El Departamento de Radiología en la Escuela de Medicina Joe R. y Teresa Lozano Long de UT Health San Antonio está en búsqueda de un Radiologista en Medicina Nuclear para unirse a nuestro departamento en expansión. Esta es una posición de facultad a tiempo completo que abarca desde el rango de Profesor Asistente hasta Profesor.
El miembro del cuerpo docente proporcionará servicios clínicos en el Hospital Multispecialty y de Investigación de UT Health San Antonio, UT Medicine y en instalaciones afiliadas, incluyendo cobertura de Medicina Nuclear durante la noche y fines de semana, así como cobertura de urgencias los fines de semana según sea necesario.
Las responsabilidades adicionales incluyen la enseñanza a estudiantes de medicina, supervisión de residentes y becarios. Se desea un historial establecido de logros en educación e investigación. Los candidatos deben ser usuarios autorizados y tener experiencia con el rango completo de estudios y terapias diagnósticas en Medicina Nuclear.
Nuestro hospital y clínicas son centros de referencia regional para Oncología y tienen una asociación con el Centro de Cáncer MD Anderson, para trauma, trasplante de órganos y otras especialidades quirúrgicas y médicas.
La sección de Medicina Nuclear también es el sitio del programa de residencia acreditado por ACGME en Medicina Nuclear en colaboración con el Consorcio de Educación en Salud de Servicios Uniformados de San Antonio (SAUSHEC).
Nuestras instalaciones están equipadas con escáneres de última generación, incluyendo PET/CT y SPECT/CT.Los miembros de la facultad participan y tienen oportunidades para desarrollar intereses de investigación dentro del departamento y en colaboración con investigadores en los departamentos de ciencias básicas y clínicas en todo el campus.
Los candidatos deben estar Certificados por la Junta o ser Elegibles por la Junta en Radiología Diagnóstica y Medicina Nuclear (se prefiere la doble certificación), tener una Licencia Médica del Estado de Texas o poder obtener una Licencia Médica del Estado de Texas antes de la contratación.
