We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team at Spurwink Services. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of youth, ages 5-20, who require speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia services. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia in a multidisciplinary treatment team setting. You will provide consultation, direct instruction, and modeling both in and out of the classroom to develop a total language/communication environment. Additionally, you will provide in-service education and/or consultation to clinical and educational personnel concerning communication intervention strategies. Your duties may also include supervising assigned speech pathology interns and assistants when applicable. To be considered for this position, you must hold a Master's degree in Communication Disorders and possess a Maine State License in Speech-Language Pathology. A strong understanding of communication disorders and their impact on individuals and communities is essential. Your excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team will enable you to build effective relationships with colleagues, students, and families. The salary for this position is approximately $85,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
