Radiation Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at a state-of-the-art cancer center in Missouri. As a Radiation Therapist, you will work under the guidance of an oncologist and physicist to prepare patients for radiation treatment and administer precise doses of radiation to cancer patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiation treatment, including taking precise measurements and fitting them with specialized equipment
  • Administer radiation treatments to patients, monitoring their responses and adjusting treatment schedules as needed
  • Work collaboratively with a medical team to ensure accurate and effective treatment
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and progress
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in radiation therapy
  • Active ARRT license and BLS certification
  • Experience with Varian Truebeam and Varian Edge equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
