Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at a cancer center in Columbia, Missouri. As a Radiation Therapist, you will work under the guidance of an oncologist and physicist to prepare patients for radiation treatments and administer precise doses of radiation.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiation treatments, including taking precise measurements and fitting them with specialized equipment
  • Administer radiation treatments, monitoring patients' responses and adjusting treatment schedules as needed
  • Work collaboratively with a medical team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Meet the requirements for a 13-week contract, working 40 hours per week with a 5x8 schedule and no weekends or holidays
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in radiation therapy
  • Active ARRT license and BLS certification (AHA)
  • Experience with Varian Truebeam and Ethos equipment
