About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert tax guidance and support to our clients, helping them navigate complex tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique tax needs and providing personalized support.
  • Conduct thorough tax interviews, gathering information and identifying opportunities for tax savings and optimization.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to provide expert guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, driving continuous improvement in our tax services.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with a focus on individual and business taxation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
