Automotive Refinish Specialist

Earn up to $150K per year as an Automotive Refinish Specialist at Edwards Collison Center & Body Shop in Council Bluffs, IA.

This full-time production position involves repairing and refinishing panels with rock chips, scratches, small dents, painting imperfections, and buffing. The successful candidate will work closely with managers and other technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.

• Panel Repair and Refinishing: Restore vehicle panels to their original condition using expert painting skills.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with team members and management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Vehicle Preparation: Prepare vehicles for painting by ensuring surfaces are clean and free of contaminants.
• Color Matching: Ensure that colors match specifications to deliver high-quality finishes.
• Sanding and Buffing: Use power tools and hand tools to sand and buff surfaces for a showroom finish.
• Booth and Paint Preparation: Prepare the paint booth and materials for specific vehicles.

• Experience: 5 years of auto body painting experience is required.
