Sentara Health is on the lookout for a talented individual to fill the role of Graphic Designer.
Employment Type: Full-time, Day Shift
Position Summary:
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering graphic design services while adhering to Sentara's branding guidelines. Key responsibilities include participating in project meetings to define project scopes, ensuring that all design forms are systematically stored in a database or shared drive. Design materials may encompass brochures, books, newsletters, envelopes, and marketing collateral. The candidate will also document weekly progress and keep management informed of their workload. Additionally, the role involves creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborating with vendors and Sentara staff to address inquiries, provide updated documents for printing, and assist with translations and branding efforts. The individual will also be tasked with developing Xert Campaigns and generating performance reports.
Essential Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Graphic Design.
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or a related field (4 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator), and HTML is required.
- Familiarity with Adobe Dreamweaver, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred.
