  • Material Handling: Weigh, transport, dump, store, and identify scrap material with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate mobile equipment such as pay loaders, forklifts, and skid steers to move materials around the foundry.
  • Material Identification: Identify scrap material for accuracy and identification purposes.
  • Weighing and Marking: Weigh material using scales and mark it for processing.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of equipment through preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Scrap Processing: Assist with the processing of scrap material through shredder or dryer.
  • Material Transportation: Transport and stage material before and after processing procedures.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
  • Quality Control: Test material as needed to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Housekeeping: Assist with maintaining housekeeping standards for the area.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detail.
