Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Banking Center Manager to join our team at Midland States Bank. As a key member of our banking center team, you will be responsible for driving business development, managing sales and operations, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Manage and motivate a team of bankers and tellers to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Provide coaching and training to staff on sales and customer service techniques
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities to deepen customer relationships
  • Assist in the delivery of quality customer service through personal contact and adherence to approved quality standards
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
  • Assist in the management of staff scheduling and timesheet approval
  • Communicate effectively with staff and customers to drive sales and customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in banking or a related field
  • Broad knowledge of bank systems, consumer loans, and deposit accounts
  • Cash handling and customer service background
  • Proven sales experience and ability to drive sales growth
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
