Job Summary

Lemieux & Associates is seeking an experienced Investigator to join our team in Des Moines, IA. As an Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting complex SIU/Claims investigations, gathering evidence, and providing detailed reports.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations of property theft, vehicle theft, garaging issues, and permissible use claims
  • Obtain written and recorded statements from witnesses and parties involved
  • Perform scene investigations to gather evidence and document findings
  • Investigate and analyze complex claims to determine validity and liability
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution

Requirements

  • Must be licensed as a Private Investigator in the State of Iowa
  • Reside in the Des Moines or surrounding area
  • Have complex SIU/Claims investigation experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and days
  • Strong computer and Internet skills
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and reliable vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Notary public certification
  • Experience conducting surveillance as a Private Investigator
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
