Tax Preparer Job Description:

We are currently hiring for a Tax Preparer position at Jackson Hewitt - 2628. As a Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for preparing accurate tax-related forms, conducting face-to-face tax interviews with clients, and providing expert explanation and advice on future tax planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and complete accurate tax-related forms
  • Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients
  • Provide expert explanation and advice on future tax planning
  • Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 seasons of Tax Preparer experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • College degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
  • Bilingual Spanish (desired)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Salary Range:

$13-$14 per hour, depending on experience.
