POSITION SUMMARY:

RUDOLPH AND SLETTEN is in need of a Project Manager who can lead projects from inception to completion, manage risks, and supervise the project team. The Project Manager is accountable for ensuring that projects adhere to all performance metrics, including schedule, budget, safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Projects must be managed in accordance with company policies and the core values of Rudolph and Sletten, which include client focus, integrity, a passion for construction, quality, safety, service, and a technology-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the preconstruction process and its integration into construction.
  • Collaborate with the Preconstruction team in preparing estimates and conducting subcontractor post-bid meetings.
  • Effectively manage the job setup process while adhering to company protocols.
  • Assemble the project team and clearly define roles and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate kickoff meetings to review and agree upon project procedures with all stakeholders.
  • Develop a project closeout plan and schedule for completion immediately following construction, including turnover packages and contract closeout.
  • Foster a jobsite culture that prioritizes safety, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain the financial health and success of the project, supporting corporate finance objectives.
  • Establish and manage the original project budget, ensuring alignment with the Owner Agreement.
  • Track subcontractor change orders and lead the project team in processing them promptly.
  • Develop and maintain the project master schedule using scheduling software.
  • Implement a Quality Management Protocol that aligns with the Owner contract.
  • Oversee the submittal and coordination process, ensuring successful project management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and consultants for future business opportunities.
  • Promote a positive work environment and motivate team members to perform effectively.
  • Analyze and resolve complex construction process issues while communicating effectively with all personnel levels.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred; a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction or a related field is required.
  • Experience with large commercial projects, particularly in healthcare and education, is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with Procore construction software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of scheduling software such as Primavera P6 is advantageous.

Expected annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $165,000, based on experience.
