Position Overview

The Childcare Support Specialist is essential in enhancing the educational framework and ensuring quality care for young learners at Global Pioneer Academy. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the execution of educational programs and motivate children's involvement
  • Participate in classroom activities while ensuring cleanliness and organization
  • Encourage self-sufficiency and promote healthy hygiene habits
  • Facilitate smooth transitions for children between home and the educational environment
  • Comply with organizational policies and state guidelines
  • Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma is mandatory
  • 1-2 years of experience in Early Childhood Education is preferred
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check and health assessment
  • High energy levels and a collaborative spirit are essential
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
  • Desire to pursue a Child Development Associates (CDA) credential
  • Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certification is a plus
  • Proven understanding of child development principles
