What is a Certified Home Health Aide?

A CHHA is a state-licensed, trained healthcare professional who assists individuals with physical or cognitive limitations to live their best lives in their homes or care settings. As a CHHA, you will provide personal care services, including toileting, bathing, dressing, and preparing healthy meals, while also offering socialization and companionship.

Our Training Program

Our 8-week hybrid course is designed to teach you the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful CHHA. You will complete 10 hours of online training each week, learning at your own pace, and attend in-person sessions one day a week for 3-4 hours to practice your skills in our fully-equipped Nurse Lab.

Our experienced and friendly instructors will guide you every step of the way, providing you with the support and training you need to succeed in this rewarding career.

What to Expect

Upon completion of our training program, you will be eligible to take the state certification exam and become a licensed CHHA. You will also have the opportunity to work with ComForCare Home Health Care - Somerville, a reputable and compassionate healthcare provider.
