Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Charge Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a Charge RN, you will be responsible for providing professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment. You will also be responsible for the workflow of the unit under the direction of the unit management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine unit priorities for assigned timeframe with regard to patient care, patient flow, staffing, and distribution of resources.
  • Ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
  • Deliver coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • RN license in state of hire and wherever care is provided upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
