About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our Home Lending group as part of Consumer Technology. This role requires a strong background in software engineering, site reliability engineering, and cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex technology initiatives, including those with broad impact across the company.
  • Develop and implement standards and best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software projects and programs.
  • Review and analyze complex technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives.
  • Make decisions on developing standards and best practices for engineering and technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with key technical experts and senior technology teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of site reliability engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with application monitoring tools.
  • 2+ years of experience working with cloud applications.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Thorough understanding of production application support processes.
  • Thorough understanding of application environment implementations.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools.
  • Experience with automation playbooks and infrastructure and application resiliency.
  • Experience supporting Java and.NET applications.
Job Expectations:
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • Periodic availability for evening and weekend on-call.
  • Expectation of at least 3 days per week in office.
Location:

Multiple locations, including New York, Charlotte, West Des Moines, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Columbus, and others.
