Geospatial Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geospatial Project Lead to join our team at the City of Atlanta. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and project management skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing complex geospatial projects, including land surveying, mapping, and spatial analysis. They will work closely with project engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage geospatial projects from initiation to completion
- Oversee teams of surveyors, engineers, and technicians
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and city officials
- Analyze data and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., surveying, engineering, geography)
- 5+ years of experience in geospatial project management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of geospatial software and technologies (e.g., ArcGIS, AutoCAD)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The City of Atlanta offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
