Pediatric Hematology Oncology Faculty Position

Cleveland Clinic, a world-renowned academic medical center, is seeking a highly skilled physician to lead the development of an oncology palliative and supportive care program in collaboration with Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, Pediatric Palliative Care, and Adult Palliative Care teams.
About the OpportunityThis is an exceptional opportunity to work in a highly engaging and collaborative environment with the support and resources of the Cleveland Clinic Children's Institute and Taussig Cancer Institute. The selected candidate will join a vibrant and growing program that includes 16 Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologists, 2 PhD providers, 10 nurse practitioners, and dedicated disease-based care coordinators and psychosocial team members.
Responsibilities- Develop and lead the oncology palliative and supportive care program
- Collaborate with Pediatric Palliative Care team led by Dr. Christine Traul
- Work with Adult Palliative Care team led by Dr. Laura Shoemaker
- Engage with physician fellowship program and educate Adult Palliative Medicine Fellows, other specialty fellows, pediatric residents, and medical students
- Collaborate with multiple outside home Hospice agencies

Cleveland Clinic Children's is a tertiary and quaternary referral hospital on the Cleveland Clinic main campus with more than 360 physicians in 55 pediatric medical and surgical specialties providing over 1.1 million outpatient visits, 15,500+ in-patient admissions, 13,000+ surgeries, and accepting 840 transports per year.
Requirements- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Hospice and Palliative Medicine
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Ohio
- Faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with academic accomplishments at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University
