Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Kindred Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill, and medically complex patients. You will provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing supervisors/ managers, and co-workers to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in discharge planning and ensure a smooth transition of care for patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • BCLS certification is required; ACLS preferred.
  • Minimum six months of experience as a Registered Nurse with Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Compensation

$51.00 per hour
