This is a full-time position (40 hours) with rotating Saturdays, offering a competitive salary of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the credit union in recovering delinquent loans while maintaining excellent member service. This involves:

  • Negotiating with members to set realistic payment arrangements and maintaining timely follow-up.
  • Offering loss mitigation and financial hardship assistance when members are in distress.
  • Documenting and recording all member interactions within the member's account and/or loan file.
  • Ensuring accurate payment application and daily balance of payment GL.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
