Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at SkySource Solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to transport merchandise throughout the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Conduct regular safety checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking fluid levels and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Manage inventory levels by ensuring the packaging lines have empty pallets available and informing the supervisor of the pallet inventory.
  • Operate the stretch-wrapper and change the stretch film as required to ensure efficient packaging and shipping of merchandise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by restacking, picking up trash and debris, and washing equipment as needed.
  • Perform physical inventory counts of finished goods as required to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Meet quality and quantity standards by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail required.
