Position Summary:
Our Fund Solutions division is in search of a Fund Accountant or Senior Fund Accountant with 1-3 years of relevant experience. The selected candidate will oversee various client deliverables, ensuring exceptional service quality. Responsibilities encompass fund administration tasks for private equity funds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile financial statements and supporting schedules (GAAP and other standards)
- Calculate capital calls and distributions, and prepare associated communications
- Execute NAV calculations
- Conduct investor and compliance reporting
- Engage in daily client interactions
- Manage matrix reporting for client services
- Handle internal responsibilities (status updates, time management, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is mandatory
- Prior experience as a Fund Accountant in Private Equity or Hedge Funds is essential
- Familiarity with US GAAP is required
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges)
- Experience with Investran is advantageous
- Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent organizational abilities
